When choosing an animal companion, many people tend to make a choice based on their lifestyle and what kind of animal would better fit in with their personality and then head to an animal shelter.
One of the best feelings is when an animal chooses you. Most of the time you won’t have a say in the matter since they have already made up their minds and you only have to resign to the fact that you’re now adopted by an adorable ball of fur.
Hina Kawasaki is a very lucky guy. An adorable kitty spotted Hina walking in the park and approached him with all her cuteness. She threw all her charm at him at first, but as he continued to walk, she feared she would lose him forever and started following him.

She was very chatty and started to weave in between his legs, as to make him stop and pay attention to her, which Hina promptly obliged. Before he knew it, he fell for her and the sweet kitty was going home with him.
She was so happy to be with her forever human that as soon as they got back to his place, she fell asleep. Imagine her relief to finally be in her forever home…
Hina named her Veil and now she’s his little princess. He pampers her at every opportunity and she’s pretty much taken over his bed and every nook and cranny of his house. That’s one confident kitty!
She likes to help Hina even with the most boring of chores, like doing laundry together.
“She is like family to me, I think she also loves me. We’ll be together forever,” Hina told Bored Panda.
By giving Veil a home, Hina now has a faithful friend that will love him for the rest of her life. Because she chose him.
