Nobody can deny newborns are the cutest little bugs! Usually their first few minutes on this earth are a bit scary and getting them out a perfectly comfortable cocoon in their mom’s womb may make them a bit cranky and they will make sure you know that.
Apparently, that’s not the case of little Carmel. She just looked so excited to be out that when her parents posed for a post-birth selfie with her, they couldn’t believe her excitement in the picture! C-Sections are often very traumatic for the baby, but Carmel just wanted to show her parents how happy she was to meet them!
She was born in December, but new mom Thaise de Marie shared the beautiful picture with her followers a month after the birth, making it go viral.
Carmel is a happy baby and since she was born, her mom has been showing all the fun things the baby has been up to and she looks thrilled in every picture!
Thaise summarized the feeling of the now famous picture in a few words: ” And suddenly, the photo of my life was taken without a super production behind it, without a good resolution, without worries about my hair, makeup or if it was taken from the right angle! I was crying and my face was swollen, daddy was smitten and Carmel already showing in her first seconds of life what she was here for… to make us a happy family!”
