Halloween is one of those holidays where you get to dress up and express yourself through exciting costumes and for one night, be in your own fantasy world and have a good time.
For a black kitty, she’s still trying to decide if her night was fun or frightening!
Sophie’s human decided he would dress as a giant-size version of her for Halloween with piercing green eyes and all. He got creative and went out of his way to make a costume that would make him look just like his cat. He started by making an elaborate giant black cat head using a variety of materials such as papier mache, synthetic fur, synthetic leather and jewelry wire for the whiskers.
A friend posted a picture on Reddit of him wearing the costume while holding Sophie and her expression is beyond priceless!
Cats are well known for getting scared at just about anything and it doesn’t take much for them to totally freak out. In this case, it looks like the kitty doesn’t quite know what to make of it. Run, be flattered or try to figure out what the heck is this? Needless to say, the picture went viral in a matter of hours.
Hopefully, Sophie recovered from this traumatic ordeal and managed to have fun with her human. After all, there’s no Halloween without black cats!
