Trying to change your personality to please others is never a good idea and Kitty The Cat knows that really well.
She was found as a stray, all alone hiding behind bushes and was rescued and brought to an animal shelter where her good looks got her to be adopted, just to end up being returned to the shelter shortly after due to her highly energetic and mischievous personality. Sadly, she was adopted four more times and returned to the shelter every time.
She struggled to find a home where she was welcomed and free to be herself. She didn’t give up nor changed her unique personality to please anyone because she knew the right person would eventually come along and they would be perfect for each other. That perfect person was Noelle Fischer.
When Noelle saw Kitty at a friend’s house who was fostering the cat, it was love at first sight! ”She strutted in like she owned the room and then was like a bull in a china shop, just bouncing from chair to chair, laptop to TV, on top of the dog, and then landed on my lap. I took her home that night and officially adopted her the next day,” Fischer said to the Huffington Post.
Noelle saw Kitty more as a problem child that hadn’t been understood and fell in love with her energy and free-spirit.
Since adopting Kitty in 2013, Noelle says the cat has grown even more playful. ”She went through a phase where she would attack toilet paper, unravel it, find it in the closet and shred it. You cannot leave sponges out; she will take them from the sink and walk through the apartment until she finds the perfect spot. One time I woke up to a wet sponge in my bed,” Noelle said.
