When children fighting cancer gathered in the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Sebastián,
in Cochabamba, Bolivia for a special mass dedicated to praying for their healing on International Childhood Cancer Day, this special visitor decided to enter the church and put a much-needed smile on everyone’s face.
The doggie wasn’t shy! He got to the church’s center aisle and treated as he was about to start to warm up for an act. He stretched, rolled over and got everyone’s attention! In his simple, innocent playfulness, the pooch involuntarily paused the mass since the whole church started to laugh out loud as the dog put on an adorable cheerful display for all to see.
Father Bazan, the church’s priest, made sure he asked the congregation to not disturb the dog because ‘’he is a creature of God, and he’s happy!’’
For a few moments, the little ones were able to forget all about their pain and suffering and laugh at this unknown stray dog who made them laugh just by being his happy self.
