This Natural Ingredient Will Give You a Glowing, Youthful Skin!

A lot of people turn their noses when they hear about vinegar being used by itself, other than mixed in a salad dressing. Its pungent smell and sour taste makes it hard for people to even want to try it! Once you get used to it, it becomes an elixir you can’t live without.

Made from fermented apples, in its raw and unfiltered form, it contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, and E as well as minerals, such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.

For over a thousand years, vinegar has been used to treat a myriad of health problems, from common colds to balancing hormones, lowering blood sugar and treating cholesterol. It is one of the oldest natural resources to help treat and prevent common ailments. The Greek physician Hippocrates, around 400 B.C. used to prescribe apple cider vinegar mixed with a little honey to cure a number of illnesses in his patients.

Over the past few years, we’ve been hearing a lot more about this ”superfood”. You can basically find it in any grocery store and it’s very inexpensive, which makes for an awesome choice for your health and beauty arsenal. Just a little of it goes a long way!

We know the benefits of drinking ACV, but it also offers many benefits when applied topically.

One of the best uses for Apple Cider Vinegar is to use as a face toner.  Say hello to beautiful, radiant skin!

Help For Sensitive Skin

For people with very sensitive skin, ACV is a great helper. Its acidity is very close to the pH levels of our skin.

Most cleansers and toners use harsh chemicals, even in products labeled for sensitive skin, that will harm the skin’s protective layer against germs and bacteria, and make your skin’s pH levels get out of balance. This can make it even more irritated and vulnerable to breakouts.

Treating and Preventing Acne, Redness and Skin Breakouts

For those with skin types prone to acne, redness and breakouts, the ACV toner opens up the pores and acts as an antibacterial cleanser because of its antifungal and antiviral properties.

For people with oily or combination skin types, the toner helps regulate the skin’s pH levels, which prevents the skin from becoming too greasy of too dry, making it one of the most effective natural treatments for balancing the production of sebum. The acids in the vinegar also help tighten pores, making them less noticeable.

Reduces Wrinkles and Expression Marks

One of apple cider vinegar many helpful substances are AHA (alpha-hydroxide acids), found mainly in apples and other fruits. It helps by dissolving dead skin cells and restoring moisture and elasticity, thus minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and many other signs of an aging skin.
