Many say that cats don’t have an emotional attachment to their humans, which any cat parent would fight the notion that their fur baby doesn’t love them back.
Little Panda can attest that that’s absolutely not true. Her devotion to her little brother, even before he was born, is heartwarming, to say the least.
When Liel Ainmar from Alberta, Canada, adopted little Panda, they had an almost immediate bond. When Liel became pregnant, Panda didn’t leave her side, always following her everywhere, cuddling, purring, and pushing her head against Liel’s belly.
Once baby Sean was born, Panda was a bit confused at first, but after smelling the baby, she realized he was the little brother she had been waiting for in her mama’s belly.
Baby Sean now has a very devoted big sister, who watches him sleep, smells him and sits right next to him whenever she can.
Liel urges people to adopt, not buy cats that desperately need a home. They certainly have a lot to offer and teach us about love.
