We all need more love in our lives. That’s a fact. Why not incorporate that lovely reminder in our home décor?
This is a simple and fun project that can be done in a lazy afternoon.
If you’re not feeling the love, you can customize this project to any inspirational written word of saying you want, and you can also use different materials, such as ribbon, fabric and twine.
Just follow these instructions and get on with it!
What you will need:
- Piece of Cardboard
- Permanent Marker
- Scissors and Craft Knife
- Clear Tape
- Yarn or Your Favorite Material
Step One
Use the marker to write the word or saying of your choice on the cardboard.
Step Two
Cut out the words with scissors and use the craft knife to cut the inside of the letters and any excess cardboard that the scissors couldn’t reach.
Step Three
Tape the tip of the yarn to the end of the word. Begin to wrap it around the letters, until the whole word is covered. Don’t forget to double wrap spaces that were not fully covered by the yarn due to its shape.
